WELCOME TO WHAT A BRICK!

 

Thank you for visiting my store. I currently stock a modest but growing selection of new and used bricks, minifigures and complete sets (mainly factory-sealed retired sets). All Lego sets and parts are genuine and stored in a smoke-free/pet-free home. I kindly ask that before you buy, you familiarize yourself with the important information below.

 

By making an order in my store you as the buyer agree to the below terms and conditions.

 

CONDITION

Bricks and Minifigures

Parts advertised as NEW have been taken directly from new bags/boxes and have not been clicked together. I cannot guarantee that these pieces will not have smudges or minor scratches/marks as these parts are factory shipped loose and do rattle around. NEW does not mean mint!

Parts advertised as USED are in good or very good condition but some may inevitably have visible marks/scratches/dings (they are used after all). I do my best to remove any non-genuine pieces or pieces too damaged for sale. However, the odd few may slip through. All used pieces are washed before storage. I also stock several degraded parts marked as *degraded* bricks. These are functional bricks that are more heavily damaged (e.g., deeper scratches, bite marks, discolouration etc) but are still useful for structural or out-of-sight builds and provide a cheaper alternative.

Used minifigures have individual descriptions of condition and photos are provided upon request.

I do my best to sort pieces with slight variations, but sometimes there will be a few that end up in the wrong category. Please contact me first before leaving feedback if you find an error with the order and give me a chance to fix the problem.

 

Complete sets

Sets advertised as NEW are factory sealed boxes. Boxes may show signs of shelf wear or have retail stickers applied. Any significant box damage outside of normal wear and tear will be listed in the description and photographs provided.

Sets advertised as USED have been assembled by myself for photographs and to make sure the piece list is 100%. Spares are typically not included unless otherwise stated.

 

PAYMENTS

This is an Instant Checkout enabled store. This means the final order cost including postage and handling will be displayed upon checkout, and the order cannot be placed and finalised before payment is made. There is also an option to request a quote in the shipping options if preferred. PLEASE NOTE WHEN REQUESTING A QUOTE, NO CONTRACT IS ENTERED THEREFORE THE SELLER IS NOT OBLIGATED TO HOLD ITEM(S) FOR THE BUYER.

Store prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD)

I currently accept PayPal (Onsite) and Credit/Debit Cards through Stripe - No additional fees.

All orders will be sent to your address registered with your PayPal account or credit/debit card so make sure this is correct before payment.

Once you have placed your order, the order is considered final and cannot be changed or cancelled. If you have manually requested a quote, I will try to email you one within one business day. Unless accepted and paid within 3 business days, the quote will be cancelled.

I try to maintain next business day shipping for most orders so you get your order as fast as possible! However, please understand that this is a part-time endeavour and I occasionally have other commitments that may delay an order getting out by a day or two.

I charge no PayPal fees, have no lot limits, and have no minimum buy. However, I do charge a small postage and handling fee of $1.00 for all orders (incorporated into shipping costs) to help cover some of the mailing expenses (e.g., envelopes, bubble wrap etc.) and make small orders economically viable. SHIPPING

Bricks and Minifigures

I aim to ship most orders the next business day via Australia Post Domestic or International Standard.

I take great care in packaging your orders so they arrive safely and I photograph every order that goes out as evidence. In the unlikely case of loss or damage incurred during shipping, I do not take any responsibility and any damages/losses must be directed to your local post office for possible compensation.

Bricks and minifigures will be mailed in padded envelopes or sometimes rigid mailers or boxes. New parts are separated from used parts. However, I do not separate piece types into different bags (I want to reduce my use of plastic bags as much as possible. NEW minifigures are always shipped unassembled in a separate zip-lock bag to minimize scratches from other bricks during shipping (please leave a note if you want your minifigs assembled). USED minifigures are typically stored and shipped assembled.

 

Complete Sets

DOMESTIC postage – Sets will be bubble wrapped and shipped in a rigid box. Postage includes tracking and insurance up to $100. Please note I take no responsibility for box condition once it leaves me.

 

INTERNATIONAL postage – Sets will be bubble wrapped and shipped in a rigid box. Sets will be sent with Australia Post International Standard Parcel with tracking and insurance up to $100. Please note I take no responsibility for box condition once it leaves me. International buyers may also request a quote before committing to a buy. However, PLEASE NOTE WHEN REQUESTING A QUOTE, NO CONTRACT IS ENTERED THEREFORE THE SELLER IS NOT OBLIGATED TO HOLD ITEM(S) FOR THE BUYER.
